The Revolutionary Resumption

"Oi," said my pal Mae on Facebook last night.
"You're not telling us about what you're eating any more," she said. "It's all about the exercise, and that alone's not gonna do it."

The thing is, I said right back at the start of this that the blog wasn't going to be just a list of food taken in and exercise done. If I don't say a thing, it's pretty certain it's not bothering me right at the minute. If I'm not whinging or celebrating, it's pretty much a case of me eating...okish at the minute, and focussing on other things.

Right now, I'm focussing on a couple of things.

Firstly, it's my late mother-in-law's birthday today. Miss her. She had a wicked sense of humour on occasion, and a kind heart that wept for a world gone wrong.

Second, I keep feeling as though I didn't do anything of value today. But I keep forgetting it was this morning at 7.45 that Ma and I resumed our walking jag. Going again tomorrow, and Thursday and...
A world of revolutions stretches out in front of us in fact, going round and round in ovals describing the Cyfarthfa lake.

And thirdly, I feel...bleurgh. Call it slovenly, call it lurgied...call it whatever you like, I just feel like curling up and being fed cake and hot chocolate for days.

But there you go. More walking, less cake.

Occurs to me, I've spent thousands of words across the years of this blog, but basically "More walking, less cake" is pretty much the whoooooole blog, right there.
