The Frigid Wuss-Assery

Went walking again this morning with Ma. We started walking round the lake while there was no breath of wind, which was just fine and dandy, though bracing.

Then the wind blew, and it was like striding through a highly chilled cheese grater. I looked at Ma. She looked at me.

"Bugger this for a game of soldiers," we said, almost in unison. We did one revolution and sodded off home.
"Maybe we'll do more at lunchtime," said Ma in the car. "It's supposed to be brighter and warmer then..."

It wasn't. It was bitter, all bloody day.

For the foodies - had cereal for breakfast, burnt rice for lunch, and a fairly evil pasta dish out for dinner.

Tomorrow of course is weigh-in day. No real idea how it'll go. Buckle up, let's find out, shall we?
