The Coat Test

I had choir practice tonight, as usual on a Sunday, and I...erm..I did a thing.

See, back in the day, you may remember I bought a coat. A Disappearing Coat, off the shelf at a retro store. And then we came home, and I got a second version of the same coat. When I bought the first coat, it didn't quite fit. So I lost the weight and then the coat - in fact, both coats - fitted me properly and comfortably and right.

Then I gained the weight back, and I stopped wearing the coats.

Tonight, I put one of the coats back on...and it fitted, with room to spare.

"See?" said d as I headed out the door. "You can fret all you like about whether you're putting on or taking off or standing completely still for a week. But the coat fits..."

She's right. Tuesday will bring whatever Tuesday brings - today after all was another day of no-biking, and tomorrow is the first UberCommute for a while, so it'll be a day of zero exercise and huuuuuge quantities of ass-sitting. So Tuesday will be what it is. Either way, I've come pretty far in a ridiculously short space of time, and I need to re-adjust to not being in the 18s or the 17s again. Things are good. The coat fits. I'm gonna wear it. It and a grin.
